Why I Love BlogHer!

Seriously...these women rock!

I don't know if codes of conduct for blogs will ever work...but people have to grow up.

I am constantly amazed at the pretense of in your face blogging I see. People calling people out. People harassing people, insulting people.....all behind the safety of their little blogs.

I really do think that bloggings shows peoples TRUE nature. Their inhibitions and ethics seem to go out the window when it comes to blogging.

Terms like Slander and Libel do not cross their minds.

Add to that the cyber stalking and bullying, the plagarism, the copyright theft,.......the blogging world is like the wild west.

It would be nice if people had their own codes of conduct.

I also don't think that you can lay down a blogging law across the board. Forums, fine...but for everyone...you are relying on or hoping for common human decency to show up out there....

I have my doubts.

So much for a weekly blog schedule...

With feeling so crappy yesterday I am totally off my little plan for this blog already.

I don't even have a 'inside Adam's brain' yet.....

My blood pressure felt really low yesterday so I spent a lot of time in bed and on the couch.

I was hoping to get my doc to squeeze me in today to take a proper look at some of my more disturbing 'ailments'...but with this snow now.

Yep..it snowed again. We had this terrific windstorm (again) and more trees trashed and then it snowed. It is supposed to snow on and off all day today!

The kids are verrrrrrry happy.

Hopefully I will feel more bloggy soon.

Crunchy Notes (I gotta learn that sticky thing from Skittles!)

1) I started this blog to help encourage my mom to write. She is an excellent writer. Very funny and clever in both fiction and non and just needs some encouragement.

I am also hoping that I can convince some of my Scottish relatives and the new American one's to contribute.

I will keep you posted.

My mom has a lot of geneology stuff about our family and it is really interesting.

2) Adam's Betta fish Sammy seems to either have a bacterial infection or is just getting old. So prayers or vibes or whatever you can manage would be appreciated. The local pet store kindly looked him over yesterday and tested the water for us and offered what advice and 'medicine' they could. He has been swimming about a bit more...so we shall see.
